Strange Dream

Hey guys. I was wondering if any of you could help me with the dream I had last night. I know there is significance to it but I can't figure out why. I've looked the dream up in a dream dictionary but it didn't help me much. I though maybe I just need someone who is a neutral party.

It was Easter Sunday and I was back in my home town and the same age but I was with my ex-step-dad (who isn't allowed to see me for reasons I'd rather not say) and his kids and grandkids were there. My ex-step-dad was dispersing the Easter eggs and I checked out of the front door to see if he was done before I let the kids run out. He put down the last one and I opened the door and the kids ran out. I was walking around the property helping the kids I looked under the camping trailer and there was a big black jewelry box. I opened it and there were two sets of earrings, two or three necklaces, and a bracelet or two all made of silver and sapphires. I kept it and went on looking for the hundreds of eggs with the kids. After a few minutes my ex-step-broter came up and said that he couldn’t “find any of the g** d***ed cell phones” and handed me another jewelry box that looked exactly like the one I’d found saying “I could only find this.” I opened it and there was more jewelry like the first box except it was made with rubies. There was one red leather choker that I decided to put on. After taking my hands off of it a reddish orange butterfly landed on me behind my left ear and wouldn’t get off. I brushed it away gently and it landed there again. I kept brushing it away but it kept coming back.


Any ideas anyone?

wow, a lot of symbolism there, happening in the current time, shows your current issues you are dealing with, the rubies you receive from your step brother ,,rubies usually refer to frienly feeling/passion for someone,, possibly you have unresolved feelings for him, seeing your step father who you apparently do not care for, doing nice things for your(?)children, setting out easter eggs, could go 2 different ways, either you are remembering the good things he did, a possible "i am willing to forgive you" or the laying out candy for little kids by strangers/people not trusted is always a litle worrisome for parents. the jewlry boxes indicate either unresolved issue you want to bring out, your step brother handing you one,,, unresolved issues with him. finding a box uner the trailer, issues that have been hiden that need to be resolved, not nesesarly bad issues but could be talents or abilities you have kept hidden or denied, that you shoul explore,, painting, writting etc....

It helps a bit. The kids were my step- nieces and nephew. I guess the unresolved issue with my step-broter is that I never forgave him for letting my step-nieces see my step-dad after the stuff that went on between us. I was the age I am now but everything was as it was 8 years ago. I'm still wondering about that silly butterfly though. That was the most vivid part of my dream.

a red butterfly that keeps going to your left side,,,
the left side of your body is the intellectual side, red usually equals pasion, a butterfly usually creativity,, put it all togeather, with the rest of your dream equals.......i think the best way for you to resolve the issues with your family members is through art, either drawing/painting, or writing/sculpture/song, i think you will find comfort/forgiveness/peace if you use your artistic abilities to act out the anger/frustration you have, doing a sculpture of a hand with one specific finger upraised and present it to the person you are most angry with,,(not a sugestion, just an option) writing out what happen and how you felt about it , not that you need to let anyone else read it, justso you can get the closure you need...
