It is never fair to deprive others of wisdom. I live it to you to answer this question. Read what was written by DJ Conway and understand the point she was making.

Just a FYI I have 20ish tattoos myself, but none of them make me a witch. I also enjoy dressing in black from time to time and I love my crysials hanging on my silver but alas none of that makes me a witch either.

I consider myself to be a pagan not because I wanted to become one, but rather I realized there was an actual term to describe what I had been feeling for so long(kind of funny how that works out).

I also call myself a wizard. This has been a longer work in progress for me(due to college and such). But as of Sept 19, 2009, with the help of "Grimiore for the Apprentice Wizard", I did a self dedication and started fully my path as a wizard.

To me it's a lifestyle, a way for me to better myself and the ways I can help other people. I think what caught my interest the most about considering myself a wizard is the fact that I already seemed to posses a lot of the traits of one, espeically when it came to knowledge.

I will admit though, I am one to always play a wizard, warlock, mage, or other magickal sort character on video games. But this is more because I find it is the best way to not only express myself in such games, but also I like to learn how others perceive them and how they best work with others.

Other wise, all thats left to say is I'm glad I've always had a drawing towards magick ever since I was a kid, and its good to finally feel like it all make sense to me these past few yrs.

Well, everyone's unique and everyone's a witch in their own way. I do my craft in my own way and i consider myself a witch, because i have enstablished a connection to the universe and have opened my mind to the knowledge that comes with being a witch. I don't care how others do it, i will do this my way because this is me...not you...i live my own life not yours so i will make decisions for myself. If other people CLEARLY do it the wrong way, (i'm talking basics and laws of magick) then lead them on the right path...if they refuse your help, well, to bad move on don't go jumping in their bowl...they'll never get to know real magick and will be stuck roll playing...their loss =/

This post has gone into a direction of the title that we assume to label ourselves. Some call themselves witch, some pagans etc...etc.

This is extremely important on an individual level, I shall explain briefly...
Person X is known through his life to many people...to his wife he is hunny or ****,lol
To his friends he may have a nickname that describes him in some way or the other..
The point here is that with these different names there are psychological effects on person X. Think about this for a minute!!!

So, if the person is true in what they believe and practice the "title" that they give themselves, who r we to question,
I for one refer to myself alot of the times as an Adeptus!!!

That is the best explanation I have seen yet :)

This goes along with the point I was trying to make. It does not matter what you look like or what you believe a "witch" to be. What another person calls them self should have no impact what so ever on your spiritual thoughts.

Anyone who says, "Hey I want to be a witch," is free to call themselves one. It is in the moment you decide to become one that you are one. There is no end to the path, we are all "students". Some of us are just further along the path than others, some of us are chilling along the path, and others are somewhere in the woods ;).
