Does the "sprinkle while walking backwards" cover the creation of large sigils? I am not a hoo-doo practitioner, but the only ritual I witnessed involved a large cross with I think a bandana and sunglasses, and they used ash or some sort of powder on the ground to form an intricate cross-sigil.

ok....life.....depending on what you need, depends on the powder. Most can be made from things you have at home.

Khaos.....I'm not sure about that. I do know that some practioners use powders on their altars to make symbols, as well as just laying the powder on the altar.

You could find powders at www.wisdomproducts.com or www.indioproducts.com, and www.sacredflame.com. Another good powder that you can add to just about any spell is Dragons Blood Herb Powder. It adds extra power to any spell!

See the powders is interesting because there used in a lot of cultures but i have heard that they are more used in hoodoo than most. Myself i am a oils person, i make my own oils, which isn't hard at all. Thank you for your knowledge lizzie :)

Your welcome Darkbarron. I use oils also and and make my own, most of the time.
Actually, making your own powders isn't hard at all either.
I think the hardest thing is obtaining some of the ingredients.
