I think if you are a moderator you should probably start acting like one instead of running around throwing your imaginary badge in people's faces sayin "I'm trying to drop you hints" blah blah blah ban ban ban.
Ridiculous. If you don't like a persons opinion or think they misunderstood the intent of yours, correct them in an appropriate manner instead of being a sniveling brat about it and resorting to name calling and a power trip.
Im glad someone finally had the guys to say something like that.I agrr that there are things that need to be monitored and people that from time to time may need to be banned.Whoever the position should not be ussed to intimidate people to the point where their afraid to state their true feelings.Personally,I have noticed that some of the Moderators could use some monitoring themselves,and if they want to ban me because they rhemselves cant handle the scrutiny.Well it just proves my point.
I completely agree Nodrk. I've had to tell people to never call my position as a mod into play. I'm a member first and a mod second. I'll tell it like it is and if you dont like it then oh well. I also expect the same to happen to me. I respect almost everyones opinion and in return I would like my opinion to return. And if im wrong then I would like to be corrected.
well i was only tring to look out for him cos i know some moderators not nameing anyone are quite whats the word easy to get on bad list then probly named troll and would prob be put on the mod forum cos he got on rong books with wrong moderator
You were not trying to look out for him. That's bull. You were pulling rank after making attacks. Nothing more.
And if getting on a mod's bad side is a reason to get banned...there's an internal issue going on. Banning should be done based on set guidelines that would make a positive impact on the site....not your feelings that particular day cause you forgot to take a prozac ( not you in particular joe ).
I dont by any means mean all mods are like that.some of my best friends on this site are mods,and I should also say that I have never been abused by a mod personally.Having said that,I have seen others intimidated to the point where they were afraid to continue a thread.Pet Has set in place here a kind of self govenment,and it wont work with out self discipline...Others may dissagree,but thats just me..
