Absolutely perfect and appropriate fro everyone of every religion. Especially for the people who think that they need to go to church or read the bible to become "closer" with god. When the reality is, they must look inside themselves along as everything else. Thanks for writing that. =0)

However there is no historical figure named Jesus that was written about, there are a few minor clips about a christ or christe during the time that Jesus was said to have lived. Like the term buddha it is not a name but a title given to a person who has reached enlightenment. Personally I believe that christ shakes her head at what the christian religion has become. The words have been twisted and the ideas changed from love thy neighbor to eliminate all who do not taken Jesus as their lord and savior. The christian ideas of heaven is a place where only they make it and everyone else is left outside the gates.

This doesn't sound anything like heaven to me.

Heaven, Heaven is a place, a place where nothing, nothing ever happens. The Talking Heads

Yes Balance that is one of my favorite bible verses as well.I also love the one in Acts, where it says we are given gifts of the spirit, such as healing, and visions, However as Katie pointed out The Christians have twisted their own religion so much. Most will now tell you."But those gifts went away with the apositles"! But their own book does not say that! It is just another power play so some of us will not realize our true potential in life, which is very very wrong.

christianity to me is just another form of controlling the masses, sorry for those who i offend, but i emplore you to look at your own religion and see if what you have been taught is true to you, or are you just following blindly like a sheep eating up whatever gets tossed to you.

Kts... obviously your opinions are your own, and i would never try to offend you,
however, there are historical FACTS that there was a man named Jesus of Nazereth who traveled from the age of 14 from jeruselem to asia and records of him meeting with significant religious leaders of those areas and joining them as a student. by the time he reached Jerusalem he had spend close on 20 years doing nothing but study religion, work on meditation and self awareness,

i believe anyone who spends this much intensive time working on their soul deserves the title Christ... even in buddist circles... once you have met your higher self.... the point when your soul is at the fullest and now all your efforts can be focused into teaching others you are titled by your master as christ.

Sorry to burst a bubble but there is no non-christain historical evidence of a man named Jesus. Please read the following links;

http://www.bandoli.no/historicalrecords.htm

http://www.nobeliefs.com/exist.htm

http://culturalvision.net/html/historical_records_of_christ.html

Again please always do research on all topics on your own to come to an educated conclusion. Do not take the words of one person or of many for that matter. The truth is out there!

Im also sorry for the contradiction but there is proof From the Roman accounts that a man Named Jesus of Nazerath was handed over to Pontius Pilate for trail, besides the Biblicle account of that Trial. ...According to Roman Law During the Sanhedrin Trial of Jesus, the high priests and elders asked Jesus, "Are you the Son of God?" When he replied, "You are right in saying I am," they condemned Jesus for blasphemy (Luke 22:70–71). The high priests then turned him over to the Roman procurator Pontius Pilate, based on an accusation of sedition for forbidding the payment of taxes Luke 23:1-2 and claiming to be King of the Jews. [54] When Jesus came before Pilate, Pilate asked him, "Are you the king of the Jews?" to which he replied, "It is as you say." According to the Gospels, Pilate personally felt that Jesus was not guilty of any crime against the Romans, and since there was a custom at Passover for the Roman governor to free a prisoner (a custom not recorded outside the Gospels), Pilate offered the crowd a choice between Jesus of Nazareth and an insurrectionist named Barabbas. The crowd chose to have Barabbas freed and Jesus crucified. Pilate washed his hands to indicate that that he had no part of the death....Besides the other Religeons that cosider Jesus A prophet,or great teacher at the least...This is just mt take on things

Just to add to the "argument" per say

The websites that you gave us kts are all non believer sites so they are bias in themselves. BUT so are the christian web sites about what they believe in.......................................So

Lets just let those who believe - do just that - believe and those who don't also do just that.

Personally I think that a great prophet called Jesus did exist. I also thing there was an original Buddah too.

I love santa and think there was a real santa once too - no kidding really - St Nicholas a man who gave gifts to the poor so that leads me to the point that we just do not know as there are never enough records.

Believe what is in your heart and allow others to believe what is in theirs and no wars or arguments will ever happen.

Big Hugs
