Hey!
Just joined in! It's Brim HP of Divine Spirits.I'm here for me and on behalfof my priestess Silver_Vixen. And we have a suggestion...I think it'd be really good, if this coven, was to focus on improving the knowledge of the members of our own covens.
Thus it would reduce the roll play in the chatter and so much more annoyance! Many of these members are seriously misguided and don't really understand the true meaning of magick!

So Silver and i were thinking...If WE the Ruling Class were to make lessons each week, and each week a different coven would provide the lesson, we could greatly improve the knowledge and cooperation of the covens and pretty much the whole site!

I've read the grading system and i have mixed feelings about it.
It's good that themembers will want to learn to achieve the higher grade, but it would (in my opinion) kinda make us unequal.
Besides, some of the skills we posses arent able to be shown on any tests or any kind or text what-so-ever =(
And i think that would make an unfair ''competition''

I think it would be better if we had a specialization system.
Everyone with a skill they consider is their best, should recieve a title ''Master of _____'' and ''Misstress of _____'',
And if they have souch a title, they are to take at least one student, or provide weekly lessons for the students interested in that area.

welcome to the ruling class brim, :P and i think the lesson plan idea is great, and you do not have to adopt the grading system if you feel it isnt necessary or fair, my coven has already got it and one of the days when i am not busy i will post the grades here!

also i think those title idea is awesome!! it makes the coven in order and makes us seem professional :P

I absolutely adore the grading system idea but Brim has a point though.

And welcome Brim by the way.

My coven is sort of solitary though. It's made for that very reason. For outsiders really. To be different would make my day. I know that may sound like I'm not wanting to cooperate which I am and I'm very much willing with the weekly lesson along with my own little private additions. As a high member of council and as a woman, I alwasy have more to say. So if you don't mind Brim and Dyriane....

I would like to figure out how to fit Brims titles with Dyrianes idea for grading along with small additions of the idea Brim presented, my own information only for my coven. I will not bother the information we come up in here I will only make additions when presenting it to my own coven.

That sounds about right. But now that I have a priest at my side, I will have to wait on making that decision complete. Till then, tell me if this is o.k.

I've no clue dyriane. I'm a smart woman. I will find a way. I suppose, I can just glue it together instead of welding it. Have 2 completely different sections for in the same place instead of going through the trouble of combining them, eh?

I ended up going with 4 simple "grades"...

member
probational council
council
priest or priestess

LoL... grading systems are too much for me to keep up with my members... But it seems to be a wonderful idea.

Well, for the initial point of this thread, I have a few things to say.

First; As I believe someone else mentioned, as Priests and Priestesses we all (should) be a little busy. I don't know about the rest of you, but I research every lesson before posting it to make sure that at least the majority of the lesson is correct. That takes a bit of time when you are working on four or five lessons.

Second; I don't know about the rest of you, but I have been trying to get ready for College. I'll be taking Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice and I have a few things to sort through before classes start. I also need to see about arranging an appointment with the Air Force Recruiter, I keep forgetting to do that...
Point is allot of us have lives that we need to continue, we may have accounts online but we also have to-do lists in the real world.

Third; The first two things mentioned alone take up quite a bit of time, but also I think the limit for not posting (partly because of what was mentioned before) should be about a month. Some people only have access to a computer through the school or, probably more commonly, the library and these people may not go there every day. I do think people who can't log in daily should at least let people know why they may not be here very often, but another thing is that sometimes people just don't know what to post. I've seen plenty of threads that I read, understood, and even liked, but couldn't think of any even half-decent reply other then to say I liked it and for some threads that point may be considered irrelevant.

Finally; I just joined yesterday or the day before that and didn't really have much time to post. Also, sorry if what I mentioned has been mentioned before now.
