I used to try to catch those precognitive dreams by keeping a dream diary, but it never became useful as in something I could predict by re-reading old dreams. I would only recognize a "dream come true" a moment before it happened, which you can imagine was frustrating! So, I just left that alone, but you could try and maybe you'll get better results.

Being able to sense by contact is called psychometry. I tried to hone it the same way as dreams, except with Zener cards, not much luck there either.

This presence has come back again but not quite in the same way as before, whatever it is, it seems to understand what I'm saying. Just the other day, I felt this odd presence and tried taking to it. Of course no words came back so I asked it to maybe try either moving a marble in my hand but nothing happened. I then asked it to try flickering the lights and after a few seconds, the lights did in fact flicker. I got the feeling that flickering the lights was difficult for the unknown creature so I'm currently out of ideas of what I should do.
