Marriage Folklore.

*Romany folklore says that you will be rich with love and wealth if you marry during the time of the full moon. A couple can expect more prosperity by marrying when the moon is waxing rather when it is waning*

*If a romany male presentd his neck-scarf to his girlfriend, and she wore it constantly, It was a sign that she loved him. if a gesture like this is given it could mean that he will propose*

*For love,luck,health,and prosperity,the Romanies believe in breaking bread over the heads of the bride and groom.The bread was made by mixing flour, dried/fresh fruit combined with blood taken from both the bride and the groom ring finger*

* Monday is for wealth,
Tuesday is for health,
Wednesday the best of all,
Thursday for losses,
Friday for crosses,
and Saturday, no luck at all"*

*Another belief is that the first of the couple to fall asleep on the wedding is night will be the first to die*

I think I'll do my wedding day three times lol Monday Tuesday, and Wednesday

I was married on Saturday, both times. I don't know about "No Luck". Seems like my luck was exremely bad...LOL

lol you poor thing but you know what they say 3rd time is a charm maybe next time you can get Married on a Wednesday the best of all.

Iam not married yet but i want to get married on a saturday evning on a beatch.or church.
