Love is the drive of the universe, without our drive to find and experience love what would the actual purpose be? Love is the key to the greatest energy, but to access it you need true love, the love which knows no bounds, and binding of souls together forever into a unity, but it is worth it, who wouldn't want to still be together with their loved on in the life after this?..
That is why Tantra is ancient and still practiced, it's a way to help express this love outside of bounds of time and flesh. To me love is the be all to end all, take my love away and i have no purpose of being.
