A Willow Wand

I had a question about a specific wand, I was told that a wand for love could come from a Willow Tree, now it just so happens that I have one in my backyard, and I was wondering what gift is appropriate to leave after I've chosen one from the tree? Any offering would really be appropriate as long as its biodegradable. You could leave some offerings stones (you can look up how to make them on YouTube) or a pretty rock you found.
