Deity of Balance(YinYang)

Hello everyone

Does anyone know of any Deities (can be ANY relgion, or faith doesn't matter the size, country, age or anything) that represent the balance between good and evil? Light and Dark? Life and Death? Yin and Yang?

Help would be much appreciated

For life and death my guess would be nature,you can always see how it dies and reborns itself,how it heals and how it kills itself.
For light and dark many would say twilight but still,twilight is not both,it is more mixed.Twilight contains light and dark but they are not united and merged in purity.The light and dark(in pure form) would be pure spirits and demons from Balance.

well if you think about it isnt every religion based on the balance of good and evil? Christian God and Satan, Hindu Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva(where really Vishnu is the balance), taoism Yin and Yang (as you mentioned), modern culture(not really a religion but anyway), of the "stalk" and the "reaper", the stalk brings life(goodness) and the reaper takes life (evil). Not that good and evil exist, they are merely misconceptions of a weaker state of mind.

Reaper cleanse the unpurity,he does not take life,he helps soul to advance higher and to be free.

i said modern culture and the modern culture views him as the taker of life. the general image of the reaper is that of a skeleton clad in black robes, carrying a scythe who takes people who are ready to die.

I know,but i said it because someone could misunderstand it,i often myself misunderstand things.

Nature's a good one, Forgotten

Creator deities would be the closest gods to represent balance. Think of it this way in christainity the lord giveth and the lord taketh away. This is for life and the lives of the plants and animals.

the christian satan one is valid, but in thier line of thinking satan has nothing compared to yawheh in power.

other than that, i can think of no gods that i have researched (im not interested in them) that is ying and yang.

A balance of what? If you would like a balance of Good and Evil, it's really just an opinion of what good and evil are to you.
