im still a little new here but wanted to know if once i join a coven will they help teach me? i have studied magik and already reached advanced within a month but my (ex)boyfriend wouldnt teach me so often and i REEEEALLY wanna learn.

Yeah they will help you. As someone else said above me that's what they're there for. There are covens here for beginners just take a look around. Remember that it also depends on how much time and willingness you are going to put into practice and theory and self study.
