Gypsies in the United states.

Rom:The Rom were a group of Gypsies who arrived from Serbia, Russia and Austria-Hungary beginning in the 1880's.Most worked as coppersmiths and in urban areas they also had the business of fortune telling.The rom settled in New York.

Ludar: The ludar A.K.A "Romanian Gypsies" came from southern and eastern Europe between 1880 and 1914. Most of the Ludar came from northwestern Bosnia. most worked as animal trainers and showpeople, and indeed passenger manifests show bears and monkeys as a major part of their baggage. Most of them lived in New York city.

Romnichels: The Romnichels came from England 1850.Most of them worked as horse-traders but during the first war world the rapid decline for horses fell. So they started making baskets,manufacture and sale of furniture,and fortune telling. most lived in the southern part of the united states.

Black Dutch: The Black Dutch A.K.A German Gypsies they are very few in #'s and very little is known about them.

So I did some more research on the Black Dutch and it turns out that it is a term that was used by many immigrants. the black Dutch were people of European descent who had dark-complexion but it was also used by Native Americans or people that were mixed with three or more races so that they can hide what they were because they were not allowed to own or purchase any land.

well Oak that is how it was in America at the time and till this day the Natives have a hard time.
