ok. i has a quesion.

so, whan it gets really foggy out, i always notice that these spirits are on this plane more so than in any other weather. they look like the fog except black, and they feel dark too, but also at the same time i get a protective feeling from them. i was wondering if anyone else knew anything about them.

The fog is a mystical place. It gives cover to entities and many things like to hide in it. If you feel nothing harmful from them then there is nothing it worry about. If you do feel harm coming from them then move inside or out of there way. Check out the book "Creatures in the Mist" by Gary R. Varner. You can find more information by researching the area you live in and the folklore about it.

Yep, fog is INDEED magical (we actually have a ton of it today, because the temperature just spiked to 12 degrees celcius). I always feel more energies, but I think it's mostly that earth, air, water and fire are required to create fog, and are bound as one during this time.

Another weather that I find powerful is that time JUST before a summer storm, when you can feel the lightening and smell the rain, and the dark clouds are hovering low.

i have it during ice storms most of all, then i can hear the ice "sing" with spirit voices

I would suggest that fog is a medium for spirits to cross through and travel in.

like the way the internet works in a way..(just an example, not particularily exact). energy traveling through a connector to reach a specific destination
