Astrological Calendar?

For Christmas/Yule my parents got me an astrological calendar. I'm sort of confused on how to read it. I know basic symbols such as the planets, signs, midheaven, quincunx, etc.
Here is are two examples. I should be able to understand from seeing these. Jan 4: (Venus)(Sextile)(Pluto) 2:32p
Jan 18: (Moon)(Square)(Mercury) 2:53a
I would be grateful for any help! Thanks in advance.

I thank it means whare and when the plants are at the time are given. for ex Jan 18: (Moon)(Square)(Mercury) 2:53a
that means on Jan. 18 the moon and murcury shall be in the square of the sky at 2:53 am. I do not know I am just gussing but I thank I am right on this.

Nevermind I found the interpretations. However I'm not exactly sure how to put them together.
Venus - love, beauty, romance, female energy
Pluto - transformation, rebirth, power, the under toe of life
Sextile - Harmonious
If anyone could tell me how to put them together I would greatly appreciate it.
