we r getting evicted, the landlord said either pay the money or we have to be out by the 28th, im so worried that we cant find a place in time,. and we dont have the money.. well, please everyone send some positive energy my way.. i cant stop crying cuz i dont know what we are going to do.. im not worried about me im worried about my 1 yr old lil girl.. please help and send energy and please pray for us!! thanks.. love..sherrill

Have you contacted social services or welfare to help you find a place? That would be a good start.

well, we have tried and they say my hubby makes too much, but they dont take into consideration his take home pay, see he pays child support for 3 other kids and he supports myself and our child.. i am going to go back to work and would love too but my car is down and im trying to get the money to get it going again... love..sherrill

thanks Sue.. i know everything will be ok, its just the limited time in finding a home.. but i have been calling so many places and of course most of the places i call are already taken but maybe i will get lucky.. i will go ahead and start boxing things up and try and have mostly everything ready to move..thank you for your prayers and energy. i really appreciate it.. love..sherrill

I'm not sure where you live, but in Ontario, Canada, a landlord can't evict people with young children (especially in the winter). You can fight the eviction through the Landlord and Tenant Act....perhaps there are similar laws in your area? It might be something to look into.

Do you have friends or family you can stay with until you find a place that is affordable to you?

i live in houston texas, and im not sure about the laws im just sick of this place and i want to get out asap.. but i am going to talk to my sister and see if we cant find a place by then im sure well i hope we can stay there and put our stuff in storage until then.. i have been looking all morning for a place and it seems never ending, either they want way too much or its already taken.. thank you for your help and concern.. i really appreciate it.. i will figure something out.. i will let you know what happens.. love..sherrill
