I am still disapointed with some of the members in our coven who have yet to talk in our forrums.So from now on I want all of you to post things up that are magickal and it doesn't have to be Gypsy.

Barbie, I know we have talked about this before...I really hope more people start posting. I think it's a wonderful idea to bring in more magic-white, of course-because, as we all know, so much of it is so similar and has roots based in the eclectic history of the gypsies. At the very least, we can discuss how magik compares and varies with the Gypsy Craft.
I made a few spell kits last night and I think that, if it is okay with the members here, I could post a few of the things on here...?
Just a thought. I tend to enjoy formula discussions, I find that you tend be able to tell a lot in the way of how they were taught by what particular herbs/spices etc... They use.
For instance, I love using angelica root and sage because my main focus is protection of my home and everyone in it. I also like to use Calimus because I like to be in charge of my home and responsable. Although calimus goes well with liquorice. My grandmother taught me that sage is great for cleansing doors. Her house used to smell of the stuff. (for a while, I thought she was smoking the THC if you know what I mean.)
I finding out what herbs others use, it helps me get a better understanding of other people's rituals etc..
I have to agree with you on that it can also tell you where a person is from.
For example my Grandma every Sunday would go out into the mountains/Forest to collect flowers and other things she could use for rituals.
we can discuss that E. but my opinion is that it isn't so different from anything else out there for example I am lucky enough to have an African step father who does voodoo and I must say it is no different from what my grandma and I do. So Gypsy magick can easily relate to anything out there.
Barbie, that's really what I believe, also. I find as I study the craft, it's essentially the same. The basics are tried and true. The herb/spices/ingridents have so much of the same meanings and same desired results.
