SpellsofMagic store

SpellsOfMagic now has an online store, offering over 5000 wiccan, pagan and occult items.

Wouldn't Wiccan be classified as Pagan? I just thought it would be a good idea to change it to new age or something similar.

It probably would be. I'm not Wiccan, I'm not Pagan, and although I do not use the tools and thus may not buy many such things from the store I do think it should cover a bit more area then that.

Pagans and Wiccans are not quite the same thing, but just those two don't cover much for the people who work with this stuff.

Occult, I think, would cover most of the rest, but I don't know.

I do know that herbs do not really fall into any of those three categories. Most of the better herbs were not discovered by Wiccans nor Pagans and those who did discover them would probably not fall under the category of occult. Just my belief/opinion though. I think so long as the stuff is available most people may not care to much about the wording.

Pagan is never consistent, Wicca may be new age, but Pagan is Very vast and very wide, hundreds of branches, The new age wouldn't be able to symbol all of them.
Wicca is a higher branch and differs from its original roots in many ways.

I think you misunderstood what I meant, both of you.

SpellsOfMagic now has an online store, offering over 5000 wiccan, pagan and occult items.

What I meant was that Wicca would generally be considered Pagan, and it's sort of like saying Pagan twice. I was suggesting to change the wording to this:

SpellsOfMagic now has an online store, offering over 5000 new age, pagan and occult items.

I guess it's not so important.

nice idea Callum, you are right, I think it would make more sense to drop wiccan and change it to new age or another appropriate term.

I understood what you meant and I agreed with you, but to me there is a difference between Wiccans and Pagans. I don't practice either so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm wrong about that, but that was my response. My statement about herbs was just something I wanted to add after viewing the stock.

All the tools Wiccans use could go under Pagan or new age.

True. And, from what I've seen, Wiccanism may have developed from Paganism. That is why I would mostly agree with you.

Like I've said thrice now already; I agree with you.

I understand that. I was just sort of stating my thoughts as though spofma was my personal blog.
