To be completely honest, I have no knowledge about magic or wicca or paganism or witchcraft, etc. Could anyone point me in the right direction of what I need to know?
Check out other forum posts. They have a lot of helpful info. Also, the search bar on site will help you find anything you may need help with. In articles you can check out the SoM survival guide, and there are plenty of other helpful article posts.
If you have any questions, the forums and chat are a great place to ask, but don't expect to be spoon fed information. Look for yourself first, then ask questions.
Hi welcom . To the website hope you find what you are looking for search your heart and if you acquire the knowledge of wiccan way n gain the power you are looking for do it for good and do your best to do it right and beware of the witch hunter.
Merry Meet,
I completely agree with Lark, there are no "witch hunters." Ok. I also have to say, these are some of the words you need to watch out for, they can mislead you. Any way, If you don't mind me asking what brought you to wicca?
When I wanted to learn more about the religion that had been apparently been shadowing in my family for years, I say shadowing because no one came right out and said anything to me. I went to the local Botanica, then the bookstore. Santeria and Shamans where the only people I was able to talk to back then, but this site is full of information and knowledgeable people. I have found that you can message anyone a question and they will try to answer. You can even message me, if you like and I can try to answer any question you have. I am Eclectic.
There is some good information about Wicca in the Wicca Forum here on this site. I'd start out with the post "What Wicca Is and Isn't" and then read through the threads in the post "Wicca Basics". That should be a good introduction.
Most importantly, remember that Wicca is a religion. One doesn't have to be Wiccan to practice magic. I've been a Wiccan for 30 some years, so if I can answer any questions for you about Wicca in specific don't hesitate to ask.
