In Your Deity's Eyes

In your Deity's eyes, who are you? That's the question. Here's my answer. I am one with the dark God and Goddess. In this I find a life of spiritual and fleshly delights, beyond all natural comprehension. I am the kith and the kin in the aspects of the Great Divine. I am all and the All is within me. I am connected to all things and the power therein. Now the elements and the natural order of the Divine stand within me, and so the rules of conduct have been passed down unto me. Such as, be most mindful of what thou thinks and what thou says and what thou doest. Be mindful of who you trust, because the trust and the respect of the Divine are true treasures to be kept hidden. As it is written, do what thou will under Love for Love is the whole of the Law. I will attempt to take this phrase apart using only the key words. Short definitions:
Love- A feeling of strong personal attachment and affection.
Will- A wish or desire
Law- A binding custom or rule of conduct.
Now with the short definitions of the key words, it reads as such,
I have a strong feeling of personal attachment to the fulfillment of my desires. I am however connected to the elements and nature of the Divine. Therefore I am bound by the customs of conduct to the all and so, I AM.
I am, in the eyes of my Deities, a Satanist.
Hail Satan Bless it to be

You are speaking as if you have the eyes and are looking through them. Does not make sense...

maybe the eyes he is looking through are not the same eyes that you are looking through.

He is answering his question as though he were the deity. Since he is not the deity, it is only his opinion or speculation. It was just a question, as it didn't make sense to answer for a deity.

Oh come on! "Could have", "might have" mean nothing, since it wasn't included. You are guessing and adding opinion just to counteract my question. I am not trying to put anything down, and I do respect others' beliefs. The answer should come from Lyjinn.

I find Lujinn's post to be very clear and concise. He's describing his personal relationship with the deities he worships with reference to his spiritual path. I like the way Lyninn incorporates and explains what LOVE, WILL and LAW mean to him, and how he describes the way in which he feels connected to his deities. It's refreshing to hear from alternative paths and to obtain different spiritual perspectives ;)

I'm sorry, as a thelemite, I find it quite rude when someone misquotes our holy book.....it is written

"Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.
Love is the law, love under will."

Your explanation of these concepts is also not in line, very much, with what Crowley thought....that is of course assming you knew where this quote originated from

Blessed Be.

Lyjinn's explanation wouldn't be in line with Thelema's teachings because he's a spiritual satanist which is a different path. Hecate, he also stated that this was his personal interpretation. Many religions ideas, theories and dogma are borrowed and adapted by individuals and organisations for their own purposes. Why do you find this idea so offensive? Crowley adapted and interpreted other religious ideas for his own end. Much of Thelema's teaching involves working with a Crowley's interpretation of the Kabbalah's tree of life and yet you accept this!

Hecate, criticising Lyjinn's level of English when your posts are littered with both grammatical and spelling errors is laughable. What he said is perfectly comprehensible. The tree of life is attributed to Jewish Kabbalah which is in itself based on the Torah. Crowley's interpretation and use of Kabbalah with the Golden Dawn differs from the original concept as you would know if you had read Liber 777, Gematria. Sepher Sephiroth etc and bothered to do a comparison.
