Hi, everyone! I need a help. My friend asked me to make a love potion for her. I've searched here some love potions but found it with too many ingredients that I don't have it. Is there any easy love potions that I could make for my friend?
You can look up "sweetening jars." If you are interested in a more Christian influence version, look up "honey jars," from African American folk magic traditions. Both are simple spiritual workings having to do with influencing another's disposition.
However, unless the friend and the target have a bond already, no spell would work. You need something to build upon, a foundation of sorts. I would also take time to understand ways to empower your workings and theories on how and why it works.
Depending on what you can get your hands on, you might want to take a trip to the grocery store and look in the spices and herbs and see what they have their. I've done spells with kitchen herbs and if you're looking for a even cheaper option, try going to the dollar store and seeing what's available. Just do some research on herbs for attracting love and if you're going to be making a potion to drink make sure the ingredients are edible. You don't need a lot of ingredients for any kind of love potion, just some people prefer having many ingredients and some only need but a few. Or better yet go in your kitchen and see what you already have and look up the magickal correspondences for each and see what you can do with that. Just do your research and you'll be fine :) Hope this gives you some ideas!
I have one from gaiaswiccans2.weebly.com. (You can leave out stuff you don't have.) Brew some tea first and foremost. Enough to fill two cups or more, for you'll want to drink one cup of the potion, and your consort should drink the other. Put one very small drop of ketchup in the tea, so small one couldn’t taste it, and the smallest amount of salt, even if it’s one grain. Put in as much sugar as you wish if you want to sweeten the relationship. The more sweetness needed, the more sugar you should add. Then chant,
‘Sugar for a sweet love
Salt so sacred from up above,
A romance as strong as the Goddess and God’s
Let me catch [Name of Your Crush/Boyfriend/Girlfriend/Consort] like a fishing rod.’
Add some water, a little milk, and a tiny amount of honey to the tea. Put it a small amount of lemon if you want, but it isn’t needed. If you do put in lemon, make the amount VERY, very SMALL, because you wouldn’t want your relationship to get sour. The remains of the lemon should be given to Aphrodite, for you should never waste food. Mix it all together with a spoon. Then, give one cup of Aphrodite's love potion (really tea with added ingredients, but still sacred magickal Love Potion) to your lover/consort/romantic partner/crush. Then give the second cup of Aphrodite's love potion to yourself.
Why a love potion specifically? Not all potions are to be ingested. I suggest making your own, pick 3 [if it's to be consumed make sure it's not poisonous] ingredients you own or can easily acquire with love energies [almond milk, banana, cherry, cinnamon, honey, lavender, lemon, lime...] Make a drink, while visualizing/feeling loving energy [say if it's for your friend and her crush visualize them on dates] perhaps say a chant, then tell your friend to slowly slip the drink while visualize/thinking about love. [If you're slipping it into domes drink I would advise against that just for legal and moral reasons] it might also be wise for your friend to help to increase the energy.
