please help me.
hello Im Wiccan and you see my family is Christian but the thing is i HAVE to go to Church every sunday but i dont want to its not that i dont like it its just i feel uncomfortable. My parents are forcing me to go. what should i do?
If you really don't want to do it, then i suggest that you sit down and talk with them. Tell them that you do not enjoy church and why and ask them what you can do instead. There is no reason why you should have to do something that you don't enjoy, even if they are your parents.
I am not saying get rebellious, just try and get them to understand why and what you don't like (about) church.
whatever church you go to is a religion is it not ? what is wicca ? wicca is not witchcraft. so firstly my question is ... what does being wicca mean to you ? something for thought maybe . also i would try and talk to your parents tell them you feel uncomfortable going to church , in the end sometimes sadly we all have to do in life things which we dont always want to do ,but openly talking to your parents about it may help ,i wish you well , blessings to you macus
how old are you? if you're 17 or something, you can move out soon, otherwise talk to them. in both cases you should talk to them again, but don't force it if you could move out. i'm not saying run away or make a quick dissision, just think of the light at the end of the tunnel, find a goal and work towards it. also, don't shut your parents out once you do choose to move, they're still the people you always knew [not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing] talk to them about it, if they're still adement, then use it to meditate, or in your head work things out. personally, on the couple times i've gone to church after converting, i don't go up for comunion because it's not my belief and i feel it's disrespectful to them if i did.
Options:
1: Speak to them and explain why
2: Just don't go its not they'll drag you there
3: Just go and ignore everything in it or bring a music player like an IPod or your phone and ignore it all like I would
Look into the stories of Horus, Isis and Osiris. Also Mithras. Perhaps recognizing the pagan roots in Christianity will allow you to see the mass through a different perspective.
