Personal Bio
I am a student of afrocaribbean religions. In the house of my Padrino, as it is an Ifa house, the teacher is male and all the other religions are headed by a Houngan or Tata. I am interested in meeting Mambos and Yayas, because I find it rewarding to meet, talk and learn from women. I value my Padrino very much, but I would like to learn more about the feminine powers and mysteries in these paths. This is not something my teacher likes to dwell into and sadly, I don’t know any mambos or yayas in the island. Of course, my interest in isn’t limited to female power in African religions, I am open to learning and speaking to people of different paths. Nsambia Akutare.
