A short guide to clearing the mind of bad thoughts.

You will need no materials other than yourself.

First, seek out a quiet environment that you find to be both relaxing and peaceful. Make sure you have time to yourself so as not to be disturbed.

Next, sit down in a comfortable position. Some people prefer to sit with their legs crossed.

Now, clear your mind of any and all thoughts you have. Begin to meditate.

While meditating, focus on good memories and things that make you happy. It is important to think of the positives during this meditation rather than any negatives. Feel the weight being reduced from your shoulders, so to speak. Focus on what makes you feel good.

Clear your mind once more, simply relaxing in your position until you feel comfortable and wish to do something else.
