I am a new person here, I have yet to introduce myself but plan on it real shortly, I have been reading a book that has a series to it. The series is called the Demonata. The first book is Lord Loss, please read them they are very good. Anyways in most of the books they talk about gaining magical energy. In the fourth book I think they talk about gaining energy from the stars, earth, and people. Of course I am almost guaranteeing you that the author is not a spell caster or studied spells and does not believe in magic. But our kind do. So I ask you is it probable / possible to gain magical energy from space, earth, wind, people, ect. ?
