I practised magick in high school and actually successfully cast a few small spells, but as life took over, I lost touch with this type of community and way of life. I've been awake all night, catching myself up on some of the meaning and spirituality behind it, and I have already begun a rough book of shadows (until I bind myself a new book) and am making plans for a new altar and wand. I have a small question. I know different woods are effective in wand makong for certain attributes. It's OK to make more than 1, yes? I have 3 types of wood that speak to me, and each have different strengths when it comes to casting. Luckily they all also grow locally.
