Over five decades ago, my grandmother gave birth to a stillborn baby boy, the baby was buried, however no headstone was ever purchased because of lack of money. A lady who worked at the funeral home came to my grandmother's house to work out arrangements so that the baby could have a proper headstone. My grandmother refused to have a headstone placed, and the woman told her that the family would be cursed for not placing a headstone. The balance still remains, and I am in the process of researching the location at the cemetery of this child, so that he can be at peace and hopefully undo this curse. I strongly believe that the curse is real.
My question is are there any burial rituals or prayers I can do or say once I do purchase a head stone? I'm at a loss as to what I should do to right this wrong.
