My reason for visiting here is two fold.
To maybe help myself into a position to be noticed for who I am now, not what I was, to my ex girlfriend and to understand more about spells,rituals, magic in general.
I do not wish to manipulate to the point of "this person will take me back no matter what". That is not my intent, and from what I have read never ends well. Or does not work at all.
There are two people in my ex's life that I know(family member over hearing the conversatiosn that Im close with) are manipulating her to keep her guard up to me. One person has had bad experiances with relationships...she is throwing that negativity on my ex and causing me issues. The other is just manipulative and controlling. As much as I would like them to stop, I do not want any harm to come to these people.
I just would like my fair shot again. I just want her to see me as I am now, not what I used to be. These people keep telling her I have not changed and never will.
A quick story: Together 3 years 2.5 very good. I messed up, started becoming somthing undesireable caused by depression whcih was caused by many other things. I was never mean to her, I was always kind, understanding and patient. I sacrifised so much for her, got her to want to go to college, brought her into my family. I did everything I could to try and give her a happy life which she did not have before I came around.
I made changes to my life, exact changes she wanted, but I did them for me. Here I am now. Yet she will not even talk to me about anything reguarding this issue, when I used to bring it up she would start looking at the ground and not give much in the way of conversation. We are still friends.
THats it in a very small nutshell.
What I would like to accomplish: I would like for her to just see me as I am now, not like I was turning into, which was completely reversed. So that maybe I could have a fair shot at her again. If it didnt work I would have to give up on her comepletely, I just cant do that yet.
I love her, I believe there is something still there. I believe she is being manipulated in other ways. She is easily manipulated.
Is there any advice you guys could offer?
I did try this last night. Though I am unsure how effective it might be.
I meditated, got rid of any stale or bad energy by rooting myself.
I carved her name down the length of the candle, a heart, then my name.
Concentrated on a pink candle I had, what my intent was, pured as best as I knew how that will and energy into said candle, and took a break.
I then cleared my mind with the candle in front of me and lit the candle with a wooden match. Put my hands on either side of it and chanted three times.

Then I let the candle burn down on its own.
As you may notice I got the chant from this website but modified it just a little.
Any help from you guys would be great.
