Mafdet,

the "Swift Runner".

Lady of the Knife,

Killer of Snakes,

Destroyer of Isfet.

Lady of Righteousness.

(The above are not ancient epithets outside of the first one, simply how I have personally identified her.)

"Mafdet is most commonly seen as a small cat, civet, or mongoose" however she does appear (at times) as a lynx, cheetah, jaguar, panther, lioness, etc. She is a fierce feline Netjeret, and She is also the oldest of the cat Netjeru (gods and goddesses). She predates Bast who later replaced Her as the main feline, however "She is also considered the daughter of Bast" according to Hemet (aus).

Mafdet personifies the executioner's knife, thus She is often represented as a cat climbing an executioner's pole which has a knife attached to it. She also personifies the knife which was used to cut off Set's...peaches.
