Wheel of the Year

Neo-Paganism and the Wicca movement celebrate 8 major religious festivals (aka Sabbats). They include 4 festivals on the solstices and equinoxes and 4 on the dates which fall in the middle of these seasonal festivals. Because the dates are based on the solstice and equinox they are not always the same every year, but generally the festivals are as follows:
