Someone once asked me how I judge the efficacy of my cursing ability, especially since I don't do it often. Well, it's simple. If, while I'm working the curse, my pentacle breaks into pieces, I think it stands to measure the curse worked. Yes, this is 100% legit. It wasn't a big, grand, explosion of an ordeal, but the pentacle cracked where I've deprecated the pieces to show it. That, my friends, is how you know for CERTAIN your spell flew.
