Druid Protective Circle

  Rated 5/5 Stars
SpellsSpiritual  ► Protection  ► Druid Protective Circle
This is a guide to cast a protective circle in the Druid tradition. Of course, since Druidry is an ancient religion before literacy, this is not actually a spell that the Druids would have used, but likely something of the sort.
You will need the following items for this spell:

  • A consecrated Rowan wand (alder and holly also will work)

Casting Instructions for 'Druid Protective Circle'

Use your wand to draw a circle of protection around yourself. Visualize the rowan Ogham (a vertical lines with two horizontal lines pointed to the right), and chant its Ogham name softly (luis). Draw the Ogham in the air.

Recite the Druids Breastplate:

I bind myself to these, the beauty of the Stars, the Suns life-giving ray, the whiteness of the Moon, the flash of Lightning, the whirling Wind, the stable Earth, the deep salt Sea, the strength of Stones.
