In a multivers everything is still alive, but that is on another plane of existence than our physical can get, unless we somehow managed inter dimensional travel with the use of blackholes, unfortunately blackholes aren't fixed thus mapping it out the multiverse is the trick, then the next problem would be finding a way of actually allowing a physical form to move through a blackhole and come out the other side still in one piece, so what do we get, we get souls traveling through here, when people think the universe is big they have no idea just how infinite it is especially once start going so far outside the box that you may be regarded as cetifiably insane ;)

They exist on different planes. The physical plane is our world, and most likely you won't see them there. It all depends though, like the weakening of the veils on certain nights like May 1st and Nov. 1st, etc....It all depends on which mythical creature goes with which belief and their histories.
