Familial Reconciliation?

Hi! I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask about this topic, but I was wondering if anyone happened to have insight on how to perform a spell for familial reconciliation (if such a thing exists)? Although my mother is very practiced in magic, I am a complete novice (and in fact just joined this site today) so I’m not sure if I should even be considering a spell as a remedy to this situation! But I hoped someone might have a bit of advice.
The spell would be used to mend the relationship between two sisters, my mother and aunt, who have refused to speak to each other for 12 or 13 years now. A specific incident caused this rift, but the grudge has been sustained by a lifetime of rivalry caused by a mother wound. I recently gave it some thought and realized that this pattern has actually been passed down from mother to children in our family for 4 generations! I’ve pointed that out to my grandmother in an attempt to expose the gravity of the situation and her role in changing things for the better/breaking the cycle, and she did recognize it, but overall I think the people involved will not be able to heal this without a little bit of help. There is too much pride, anger, self-interest, and trauma all around.
That said, this is already a very delicate time. My mother and aunt are both going through new transitions in their love lives while my great-grandfather is slowly passing away and his possible death brings the prospect of a tense family reunion closer. I thought healing this enormous rift between the sisters would help make that situation easier and allow my cousins and I to connect, since we are fond of each other but have been kept apart. But the last thing I would ever want is for a spell to act as a “catalyst” for something bad to happen. Although she is a witch, my mother is also religious and always told me that the intentions/power for a spell must be derived from respect and surrender to a higher power/God. Just not sure how to navigate it without being paranoid about provoking something bad, sabotaging something, or disrespecting God’s intentions for the situation.
