Greetings All, Trust we are well.
Life is such, that every journey we take, ends at a milestone, and then we take the next step in our next endeavour. So it's fair to say that, life is made up of little journeys, which ultimately shapes, and leads us to our destination.
Just like graduating from college, or getting your driver's license, this is the little journeys that lead to a milestone.
So too in magick, it's the little steps we take, that leads us to its own milestones. My first little steps in magick, was discovering my fondness in a specific craft, discovering my interests, discovering a love that stemmed from this initial little steps, to reaching a milestone that i unknowingly created for myself. A bright neon milestone I would say, that read ' Candle Magick '
So this first little steps you take, is listening to your calling, finding comfort in your chosen path, just living in its moments, because before even practising magick, magick gives you an introduction of itself, and this introduction is called ' feelings ' magick will give you a feeling of happiness, it gives you a feeling of self belief, hope, comfort, uniqueness, magick will make you feel special and everything that is of self worth.
So when we combine all this little steps of finding, and listening and feeling, it's our first journey of magick only to be greeted by it's first magical milestone.
So as we often do, when we reach a milestone in life, we reflect, we reflect on our journey thus far, and we take stock of our progress, and we look ahead in reaching our next milestone. The process maybe a long one, or a short one, it all depends on the steps one takes on their own journey.
Sometimes we set milestones for ourselves and we give ourselves a time frame in reaching them, ( im not saying it's a bad thing ) however we must be conscious of the fact that magick is a process or the time allowances in magick, because we must understand that magick works with energy, our intent, gives rise to a magical process which in turn sets of another process within this energies, which in turn presents to us the end result of our intent. So yeah, a process indeed.
Now putting a time limit to achieving all of this, would be setting a milestone way too early on your journey. And this is where we find the ' non believer's '
Saying that magick doesn't exist, or magick doesn't work, when in reality, it's the practitioner who didn't give magick a chance to even breath, let alone work.
I cannot speak in everyone's capacity, however what I can say is, is that don't expect to rush the process of magick. You can't say that today I learnt about magick and tomorrow I'm going to make things appear and dissapear by the stroke of a wand. No, it doesn't work that way,
Magick has life, it has different moods, it grows, it needs nuture, care, love, pure intensions, just like you and I.
You have to be patient and treat magick with respect.
So rather I say, instead of setting milestones on your magical journey, better you reach them on your own, don't put a timeframe or time limit to magick.
It's like planting a single seed and pouring literally a ton of water over it, so it can grow overnight, intention would be right, because seeds need water to grow, however rushing the process will absolutely amper its growth.
Take this little steps in magick, magick will present to you , it's milestone, consider it your gift, and consider it your personal sign that you have reached a milestone and you may proceed with confidence in your next liite steps that makes up this Magical Journey.
