Here's another love spell I came up with. This one is for to get your crush to fall in love with you
Ingredients
1 red candle
Rose oil (optional)
Casting instructions
If you have rose oil, anoint the red candle with rose oil. If you don't have rose oil, just light the red candle, call upon either Aphrodite, Venus or Freya. Then say I here upon call upon Venus and thelelement of fire to help aid me to make (name of person) to fall in love with me this is my will so more it be so shall it be done. Would this spell work since I'm putting my own energy into it?
Remember that Deities are not spell ingredients to be used whenever you want. If you don't already have an ongoing relationship with the Deity in question it is unlikely that they will respond to you. Think of it this way; if a child you don't know comes to you and begs you to take them for ice cream you probably would be annoyed and not respond. But if it is your own son or daughter you would likely grant their requests. Working with a Deity is much the same way.
I don't see why this spell couldn't work, but as Lark mentioned, deities aren't spell ingredients. Not only do people opt to practice without deity worship, but deities are powerful beings that deserve respect. Unless you have a personal relationship with Venus or Aphrodite, for instance, may I suggest calling upon the elements? Calling upon the elements with a small offering as thanks is a more accessible and respectful way. If you're set on deity work, even asking through divination if a deity will support you can be more respectful to achieve your goals.
I'm sure you know this, but I would also caution you as love spells manipulate the will and consent of others. Be sure that you have protections up and are specific in your parameters; you never know when a love spell can become a full blown, dangerous obsession due to non-specific requirements.
