Help-needed

A couple nights ago I experienced something strange, You know when you get this high pitch noise in your ear. Well something similar to that happened to me it was like an alarm. Very loud as if i was standing right next to it. But when i investigated the noise i realised that it was in my head.

What does this mean? why did i hear an alarm.

It's probably just tinnitus. Some people experience a sudden strong bout of it, rather than only a constant sound.

Tinnitus doesn't always manifest as a ringing noise. It can be anything from ringing, to roaring, to static. All the same I'd suggest getting your ears checked just in case it's something serious.

It's tinnitus. Consider how loud you listen to music and all the noise pollution in your daily life.

For magickal option, it could be a spiritual being reaching out to you, but you're not on the right energetic level to hear them [look into energy work, meditation, or even something like divination to improve your psychic abilities] I was also told growing up you'll hear a ringing in your ear when someone's talking about you [left is bad and right is good if I remember correctly] but I think that's more of an old wives tale and not a real thing. You should also take note of when it happens [morning, noon, night] as well as which ear, how loud, how long, and what you were thinking about or doing. These could be clues to why you're having tinnitus.
