This might help you keep the intention of astral projecting in your mind as you fall asleep but it won't make you astral project on it's own.
There are many factors in astral projection that could help you project or make projection harder.

Astral travel can be achieved via various means, but a spell, especially a verbal one, will not allow you to achieve this on its own. As mentioned above, it would be good to help set the intention, but it will not fully provide all that is needed for astral projection.
I would look into meditations you can practice for beginners if you're incredibly new to it, ones specifically aimed at astral work. If you are new to witchcraft in general, make sure you know proper grounding, centering, and warding techniques before engaging in spirit work or astral travel.
While I will neither endorse nor nay-say the spell in question, I would reference the advice of several people who actively engage in asltral projection: They say it is very important to set intention if you intend to do so during your sleep cycles. One of these people hasn't posted his suggested mantra in some time, however, so I am lacking in immediate access to quote it.
