Can you travel to a another dimension with your astral travel ?

The Astral plane is literally another plane of existence, so technically yes it is another dimension. However, it is not a beginner friendly thing. If your interested in doing what's known as Journeying, then Astral Project might be something you should look into AFTER* you master the basics. But exactly do you hope to get out of Astral projection to begin with if your interested in learning about it based on your post. If you can tell me I might be able to point you to a good group of resources.
