I will freely admit a great deal of ignorance towards the Goetia, as I have not had much inclination to work with them. Come to think of it, I think the only time I felt inspired to do a little investigating was thanks to being introduced to one of the princes (Stolas) in Helluva Boss. A pretty funny-but definitely mature- youtube series.

Though, from what I learned it seems the hierarchy and domains of the goetian princes is very important and rigid. Calling on, and working with them is an exercise of names and titles, recognition, honor, and also authority/command. The Goetia can be helpful, but they will also take advantage of you if given the chance. They are lords and commanders of their domain. So they seem a bit more worthy of caution and proper action than other beings.
