Can a love spell work on a celebrity crush you haven't met? Just curious. Also, can the break-up spell work while pointing at the picture of the couple?

Let's say that the spell works: The target celebrity has a sudden yearning for someone they don't even know exists, and they're unhappy with their current relationship because of it. What happens then? All you've done is make them miserable. And why? They don't know you. They don't know you exist, and they don't even know why they'd be attracted to you. It sounds like a serious waste of time to me.
