"Please do it," as in write it on your behalf? Or as in cast such a spell for themselves?

Directly controlling an animal is far from the realm of likelihood. Much better is to improve communication, and dedicate time to train and work with the pet. After all, that's what training is: It's teaching the animal things you're hoping to communicate to it.

You cannot control an animal mind in anyway. The animal is its own all you can do as a person is teach it how to behaviour in this world, like it's been suggested is to train it with patience and love.

on what level of control do you expect? there are spells and tricks you can do to influence a person or animal but you can't expect to 100% just control a sovereign physical body, particularly as I presume you are on some level of a beginner. With that said influencing (note the differences in 'control' and 'influence') an animal or person can be done with one of the prominent success factors being how familiarized and trusting is the animal of you. speaking from my experience I would recommend you spend as much time with the said animal as you can and with my trick you need to see your pet's aura. once you can see you pet's aura when you need your pet to say, come closer to you and not run off envision your pets aura connected to you (I envision the telepathic aura link above my belly button) the color being of your pets aura and call them back in my mind and or gently out-loud. this works for me when i take my dog I raised from a puppy running in my yard. You must be confident in your abilities and you have to really feel that connection. I started the link just gently pressing my thumb down on where my dog's third eye would be and just sending love. If you can put in the time and you have an animal such as a dog, cat etc that can reasonably trained I am confident you can achieve the same results. You could do it if you train it. It depends on the animal how well you can train it, but it is possible. Observe the animal, read a few books about training said animal, and be patient. If you want a "spell" to make it easier, you could try saying a chant to a deity who rules said animal [Bast for cats, Hecate for dogs] but ultimately, you need to put forth the effort. Magick can make life easier, but it's not a cure-all for every mundane situation. [using it as such can result in a karmic slap to the face to teach you a lesson. Even if you don't believe in karma, or the threefold law, or the rule of nine, the universe has a way of teaching people a lesson]

Just train your pet, since you are not giving us much detail, then why not take your pet to doggy/kitty school, it's rather cheap and will be much more affective than a spell, plus there are no such thing as a controlling spell.
