Evil Eye

Hello all. I come to you with questions about the evil eye. My mom and I are thinking that our lifeline has been inflicted with the evil eye and we are trying to figure out how to get rid of it. Does anyone have any information that could possibly help us out?

The traditional counter to the Evil Eye is a hamsa, or hand. Try making one out of clay and hanging it on a wall in your home, or make a tiny one and put it on a bracelet. I have lots of hamsa bracelets, they’re very effective.

I am not sure, if you have the right understanding of the concept for the evil eye.
It is simply a negative energy cast upon the victim via envious gaze.In my native end of the world, it is believed that blue eyed people are most gifted with bestowing the gaze, and that most vulnerable to its effects are the newborn and the young children. Think of it as negative energy sent your way via direct malicious gaze exposure. Sometimes the person is not even aware that they cast it because people feel guilty when they have feelings of being envious towards fortune or beauty of others. They rather would push away these thoughts into their subconscious.

It is not cast as curse or negative spell. Some people might gaze on you maliciously with ill intend, but even so it is not elaborate magical working, unless they combined it with energy manipulation in close physical proximity. Eyes, mouth and hands and feet are the easiest body parts one can project energy from. It comes natural for a person to learn to project focused energy consciously or not using these routs. Learning to project energy through the entire surface of your body is harder. A very adept into that person can use his or her limbs to do dowsing and repel and attract energies. The Evil Eye is never dangerous for energy workers. They can just repel the energy and ground it, without being affected.

Additionally, my people tie Nazar glass beads to a red string or just attach it to chains or charm bracelets. It is believed that the blue eye beads made of blue glass repel this energy as long as worn as an amulet. Jews use the hand of Hamsa with incorporated in the middle of the hand Nazar. You can always get one cleanse it and charge it for this purpose only then wear it daily.

Some people recite their holly book verses to repel it seeking the divine protection.

In Balkans, especially in my country, we believe that somehow it affects the bodily liquids such as the water content of the body, since water is a conductor of energy. So there is this rather bizarre looking mini ritual, which is performed when someone feels under the influence of the Evil Eye gaze they spin around themselves for 3 full turns of 360 degree circle, then spit out a bit of saliva on the ground. The idea is that as eye repels the eye so is negative energy absorbed in bodily type of liquid is expelled when a bit of liquid is lost too.

In Asia folks use red chilies and circle them around the head of the child, that was gazed upon with an evil eye, and then the chilies are burnt. Maybe this is because many of the children that were believed to have been even eye gazed upon develop fever next day and hot is expelled with another hot plant.
