Here is why you cannot control the elements:

1. your human. Not a spirit or deity of any kind. You have no power over any of the elements.
2. itsnot physically nor biologically possible. If your body cannot produce that elements ignition patterns, then you cannot make a flame in your palm.

Yes! This applies to some transformation spells too, it's just not possible.

I know fantasy spells like these can be what make us interested in magick in the first place. It's what's portrayed in the media after all. But if we want to grow in the craft, we have to learn what the limits of magick are, or we'll end up dissapointed.
