Protection spell

Looking for a protection spell that followea eother dark or light magick, I have an amulet I am trying to boost.

magick is intent, not good or bad, light or dark, black or white. charge it with your energy and simply say

By my might,
on this [month] night
i charge the item i see
to protect all that surrounds me
as i will it, so mote it be

you can add/edit/remove whatever you want from that chant, then leave the amulet in the moonlight to be blessed. if you work with a deity, spirit, demon, angel, whatever, you can ask it to help you in your goal, but it's not necessary.
