A human soul

What would happen if a human devoured another human's soul?

This is simply impossible: humans cannot eat other human souls. Certainly if it were possible, the human who has eaten the other human soul would implode on himself/herself. Human souls are made up entirely of energy and to eat another soul would be catastrophic. But as I said before, this is simply impossible.
